We begin the series by preparing the temple, Satanic altar, and discussing meditation as we prepare for the Astral Plane and calling Demons.
This year, Magnum Opus celebrates the Summer Solstice on June 21st with a tailored ritual which exemplifies ritualistic Devil worship and Demonic conjuring. Our coven continues this tradition of creation of an approach of offering Satan a fertile group to acquire and focus large amounts of energy, which applied by the coven and delivered by our demonic familiars, formulate bringing our medium to a laser’s effectiveness.
The time between the Summer Solstice ritual (which plants the seeds) and the ensuing Grand Climax (the harvest) is sacred; this a time of Satanic incubation to “ready” the coven for the reward of diligence and patience. The celebration and associated coven solidification (Blood and Sex Ritual) allows huge amounts of energy to be created, focused and applied at the right time and amount………syncronized and orchestrated by Satan Himself.
“Sex rituals are sometimes misinterpreted as wild orgies and uncontrolled primal urges acted as drunken debauchery. While this explanation my be correct in some Satanic groups, the purpose and performance of the sex ritual is much more refined, controlled and exacting. The sex ritual delivers much more than sexual satisfaction; it is an operation that delivers powerful, focused energy. The magical Law of Synchronicity plays a role as the timed release of the energy is compounded by the group. While the promise of orgies and sex within the coven are great sales tactics to attract and influence new initiates to the coven, it is not to be overlooked as a powerful tool of magic. There are many different methods for performing a sex ritual. A High Priestess may stimulate a male coven member on the altar until ejaculation, while the coven gathers around the altar. I prefer manual stimulating a female coven member as she serves as the altar. The wonderful thing about women is multiple orgasms which creates an enormous amount of magical energy. I use my fingers on her soft G Spot which helps to control the climax, as well as allowing her to relax and enjoy the event without apprehension. Timing is important however, you must be sensitive to her needs and never leave her “hanging” or unsatisfied when completing the ritual.” Aleister Nacht; Satanic Magic Blog
Most Satanic practitioners are on a life-long journey in pursuit of perfection in their practice of Satanic Magic. The practitioner is constantly evolving and transforming into a more efficient and effective magician. The fact that Satanists, more especially Devil Worshipers, are constantly pursuing perfection automatically integrates continuous improvement throughout the practices and processes. For those who are truly dedicated to the dark arts, status quo is not enough. Anything remaining “the same” is not acceptable and the movement and momentum for perfecting one’s craft becomes paramount in the day-to-day working that will lead the practitioner to perfection of his or her enlightened processes. To accept substandard results is not Satanic!
There are certain stages of skill one will go through on their journey from the novice to acolyte to proficiency. It is a never-ending cycle of corrections, improvements, assessments, and adapting day by day to incorporate and improve those things once learned. A person can approach the study of magic as a situation that never ends; it is a path which will continue to travel forever since the practitioner will never feel totally satisfied with his or her abilities. There will always be a desire and drive to do more; to improve upon that which he or she masters with confidence, competence and skill. As Satanists, we are always longing for the next thing we will discover. It is this natural inquisitiveness which separates us and we recognize the potential for self-discovery with Satan.
“If a person diligently practices magic, he/she may become quite proficient however, if a person believes he/she will become proficient by reading a book and not learning the material or experimenting to find their desired magical pathway, he/she will ultimately lose interest and drift to the next trend or fad. These lost souls are doomed to repeat this cycle until accepting the fact that magic requires investment and without the investment, they will always be “on the outside looking in”.” Sanctum of Shadows Volume I: The Satanist
Being dedicated also means being passionate about the practice. To love the art and learn the art is to spend time with the art; magic is a sweetheart, a lover who is jealous and always needing more and more of your time. Invest in the relationship with self, soul and your entire being. You may study and practice a lifetime and still not feel you are even at the point of novice. Satanic magic is a never-ending journey that will bring great benefits but those benefits come with a cost. You must balance your investment with your intended return-on-investment; giving 100% at all times.
It is not an easy path but it is one that pays great dividends to the dedicated. I challenge each and every one of you to strive to increase your abilities and competencies while never accepting status quo. Always know great things come to those who not only wait but take the actions needed while waiting!
Until next time!
I have been asked by several readers if the HBO series “True Detective“ has accurately portrayed Voodoo (Voudon) and Devil Worship in Louisiana. After much thought, I have decided to weigh-in on the subject…….so to speak.
I grew up and spent the better part of 22 years in southern and northern Louisiana. One thing I can unequivocally say is the northern and southern parts have only one thing in common; both are in Louisiana. Almost polar opposites (in my opinion) are these two very different cultures and societies. During my years in New Orleans, I became quite accustomed to and familiar with the practices of Hoodoo, Santería and Voudon. My earliest influences of magic were from Hoodoo and Voodoo practitioners. I learned so much from those who were eager and willing to share. Most of my knowledge of these practices came predominately from African-American women. The practice of Hoodoo and Voodoo are closely related to the study of Satanic Magic and Demonic Rituals; several similarities and common denominators exist.
“Is there any monster in this world worse than man? This is hard to talk about and harder to believe, but some of the suspects have told us their intention in all of this was devil worshipping. We are in disbelief about all of this. Never in a million, million years would we have guessed that he was capable of these things.” Reference
I suppose you are reading this blog post and really wanting to hear the “nitty-gritty” of what True Detective is portraying; ritualistic child sacrifice. The fact that True Detective takes many of its elements from actual events and records, adds greatly to its realism and I believe, to its overall impact. Yes, children have been hurt and in some cases, killed during rituals and ceremonies in Louisiana.
“In 2012, Louisiana State Police Detectives Rust Cohle and Martin Hart are brought in to revisit a homicide case they worked in 1995. As the inquiry unfolds in present day through separate interrogations, the two former detectives narrate the story of their investigation, reopening unhealed wounds, and drawing into question their supposed solving of a bizarre ritualistic murder in 1995. The timelines braid and converge in 2012 as each man is pulled back into a world they believed they’d left behind. In learning about each other and their killer, it becomes clear that darkness lives on both sides of the law.” Reference
I was instinctively drawn to the first episode because it was filmed in Louisiana. After the first episode, I was hooked. While watching each episode, I could almost smell the stench of stagnant back-water bayous, feel the humidity and sweat running down my face, smell the cafe’ au lait at Café du Monde and taste the Crawfish Étouffée in New Orleans (pronounced Nawlins). The story is set in rural Louisiana nonetheless, there are countless Familiars for me. I love Louisiana and always look back in time with fondness however, it was not the best of times……Heroin almost killed me! As I said before, Louisiana has had actual cases of child molestation, children used in rituals and child sacrifice. For me, it is not a huge stretch of the imagination to accept True Detective as factual; perhaps even a documentary on ritual sacrifice or the wide-spread, systematic exploitation of those who are at a disadvantage.
I knew people who practiced certain “Rituals” in the swamps west of New Orleans. For me, they were ‘hardcore’ and over the line so I did not pursue a relationship beyond the occasional beer in the Quarter (French Quarter). While I do not know of any specific criminal activities, it would not be difficult to imagine these people being involved in something like Rust and Marty experienced in True Detective. There were always rumors of “expirations” surrounding those who operated in the shadows of the Louisiana societal fringe. Those who have experienced life on “the street” know the best way to avoid becoming alligator bait is to keep the lips pressed tightly together. More than one person paid the ultimate price for asking too many questions or ignoring subtle, yet well-articulated advice to “shut-the-fvck-up”.
The sacrifice of a child and rendering of innocent blood holds special magical attributes for some. To take the life of another would not be difficult for some individuals. Whether you label it Satanism, Paganism, Hoodoo, Voodoo or Politics, all have their share of sociopaths and psychopaths. They believe the use and incorporation of blood, regardless of its source, will make the coven’s magic stronger. In Louisiana, the predominance of Voodoo lends itself to being more of what True Detective is all about. References to Voudon, Marsh Cult (a.k.a. Marsh Mafia), Carcosa, Société Voudon Gnostique and Circir de mardis gras point to groups, circles, cults, covens etc. that may embrace maladaptive behaviors and incorporate them into ritualistic practices. From an aspect of Hoodoo, I would venture to say the possibilities of child sacrifice are less common simply by virtue of the ritual or magical operation.
The commission of illegal acts during rituals is nothing new. The practice has been happening since the beginning of recorded history and perhaps will continue well beyond the time you and I tread upon this dirt ball. One fact remains; children are abused and murdered every day around the world. It does not require a coven nor shouting “Hail Satan”. Our society as a whole does better than any coven could dream of doing!! For that reason, I believe the events of True Detective could in fact, happen. The sun will set on the Bayou and tomorrow, the sun will rise. Whatever happens in between is…….”better left unsaid”.
I must admit, I greatly enjoyed the series and was a bit sad after the finale. If you have not watched this series, it is On Demand and is definitely worth the investment of your time. For those who stick their heads in the sand of xtianity, be aware of the reality of the world. Xtians and the established church have perfected the art of ritual human sacrifice better than any occult practitioners.
Laissez les bons temps rouler………….
The practitioner and true student of magic always keeps an exact record of his / her operations in a grimoire; which is a living document. There is really nothing special about the format a practitioner chooses because the content is the important and truly value-added substance of the grimoire. It can be as simple as a notebook or as elaborate as a document that is bound in the traditional sense of publishing. Some are bound in fine leather and transcribed onto parchment paper or fine stationary.
The important thing is you should accurately record the results of your workings. It is just as important to record failures (although failure really does not exist for the practitioner) as to record the successful operations and workings. The secret to magic is the ability to “create or achieve a certain result with consistency“ψ. Without this valuable asset, you will not be able to move to the higher Satanic magic practices, since they are predominantly based upon consistent results of lower level processes. Competent Occult Magicians simply rearrange or “cluster” effective processes to achieve the desired foundation, which adequately supports the higher level magical operations and processes.
A grimoire is somewhat like a recipe book; “open to page 42 for the secret Satanic brew”. 🙂 You will record your potions and perhaps parts of your practice of alchemy, along with personal notes and impressions in some type of encoded text. This is where the Witches Alphabet really adds value because you can easily encode your writings and decipher just as easily when desired. All you truly need is cover from the passive reader and if you can do that, you will surely have your workings coded; 60% of ‘dabblers’ do not know anything about the Witches Alphabet!
Another technique that is popular for those who are bilingual is simply writing your entries in another language. If you speak Spanish and English, perhaps mixing those two with other elements will certainly make your grimoire personalized and preclude the ability of anyone without your skill-set being able to decode your messages.
It is not mandatory that you write your entries in any type of code; some practitioners are satisfied by adding an entry in English or other language and that is fine; there is nothing wrong with that at all. The reason why you might want to encode your work is simply so the work cannot be used against you in the future. If there is a remote possibility that your grimoire may fall into the wrong hands, you certainly want to take a precaution and encode your messages by the method of your choosing. If you are not concerned about your potions, spells or rituals falling into the wrong hands to be used adversely against you, there is certainly no reason to turn your words into a riddle.
The true value of a grimoire is the ability to analyze the results of workings long after the event(s) happen. Just as a chef will adjust a recipe until he / she arrives at the perfect combination of ingredients, you too must do the same while practicing magic. Knowing what works and what does not work, what proportions and chronological order will certainly provide value as you travel along your magical journey.
Another value is recording the events that led up to the manifestation of a demon or other being; knowing the steps that lead you to that event is certainly going to be valuable. If you know how to travel to a destination, you can repeat the “travel” over and over; traveling the same way each time. You know what to expect, the time involved, risks which need to be mitigated and how to prevent “missing your turn into the destination”. Your grimoire will certainly be useful for this endeavor. In your magical practice, if you can tie three consistent operations together, always resulting as you desire, it will be very easy for you to make longer chains of these consistent ‘events’. The longer the chain, the more complex the ritual or operation and GREATER the reward.
If you 1) string letters of any alphabet together, you can 2) create words and those words can 3) form sentences which accurately 4) articulate your thoughts. The same is true with magic. If you 1) string small elements together, they can 2) form larger operations which can be assembled together in a chronological order, 3) forming a magical statement and several magical statements place together will result in a 4) magical operation that fulfills your desires……consistently!
If this sounds confusing, do not worry! As you travel along your magical journey, you will grow more and more familiar with these concepts of magic. Diligently record everything in your grimoire so you can review and analyze the results of each and every operation and ritual.
If you are practicing magic alone or with a group, the grimoire provides just as much value. For the lone practitioner, taking a few moments after the ritual to decompress and gather your thoughts is a wonderful way to come down from a huge magical high while writing down your observations! When working in a group, always discuss the event afterward while each person records his / her recollection in the individual’s personal grimoire.
Until next time, Satanic Blessings!!!
2013 Satanic Reflection by Aleister Nacht
I’m back in the cozy confines of my home overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. For those who noticed my…
For those who are unaware, Halloween requires time and preparation to be successfully celebrated. As with anything, planning and preparation are required well before the actual event and those who are diligent, always reap fantastic rewards. Magnum Opus begins the preparation for this important Satanic holiday in mid September and the return on the investment is never phantasmagorical.
Satanic rituals performed during Halloween are always powerful and effective. This is a time when the boundary between our reality and the Paradox Dimension is easily transversed. The thin membrane of space and time is similar to the hymen; once penetrated, it leaves evidence of the penetration. The Gott der Toten (God of the Dead) can easily dispatch demons and other spirits during the Halloween Satanic rituals. Ghoulish, eh?
Satanic coven members work diligently until the actual Halloween celebration and rituals begin. Lust is an essential ingredient for successful Satanic rituals and magical workings however, it is also about sexuality and the connection Satanists have with our Master, Satan. While the uneducated may say “Lust is in the loins”, the truth is lust takes many forms and it is the reward of being a Satanist that removes any stigma about what a person wants and greatly desires.
Sacrifice plays an important part as we enter the ‘dark half’ of the year however, it is not the Satanist who feels slighted or any loss. A sacrifice is always required during this season and many coven members plan, acquire what is needed, prepare the sacrifice, prepare the Inner Sanctum and organize the placement of our sacred implements of our craft. This is the Satanists’ sacrifice; for Satan always directs the actual offering.
The implements (or tools) of our craft have been used since the Druidic times; used by our historical brethren Magicians and Sorcerers. Once the proper implements are chosen and assembled, they must be blessed; usually during the ritual, a few moments before the actual sacrifice. These blessings are usually performed by the Sub Deacon at the altar. Once blessed, the implement is handed to the Magus (High Priest or High Priestess) who uses it as required by the ritual being performed. Most people are familiar with the implements of magic. If you are not, simply ask a few children and they will quickly educate you on the subject.
For Magnum Opus, Halloween is celebrated with blood and sex, encapsulated into ritual form. Blood has long played a part in magic and the Occult; its life-giving properties flowing from the veins of the donor into a blessed chalice. Whether giving or receiving this important serum of life, all recognize its importance. Satanists also recognize blood as a sacred part of Satanic Magic. From the energy contained therein, the veil separating our reality from the Paradox Dimension can be thinned even more. It is from this energy that we, individually and as the coven, peer into the darkness and see those eager to come to our assistance once summoned.
Sex has also played a grand part in magic of all kinds. Those ‘Worshipers of Nature” who laid the ground work for modern witchcraft and Wicca celebrated sex and recognized it as the procreation process that brings the next generation. Many Witches practiced Sex Magic during skyclad ritual work and their Great Rite. Many modern covens have “dumbed-down” the Great Rite and use either symbolic suggestion of sex or performs a fully-robed ‘dry hump thing’. I love sex and I strongly recommend sex magic in the coven; real sex magic, real energy and no ‘spewing in the robe’. 🙂
I prefer Sex Magic with a woman however, there is certainly no limitation on the type of sex desired by the coven. The power lies in the energy flow just before that moment of organism, when the bodies are at the height of excitement. Great power is also created by using my fingertips to gently bring the Altar to her climax multiple times during the ritual. With my fingers feeling the blood rush into her clitoris during climax, I become more stimulated and create more energy. It is a cycle that works well and in over 25+ years, I have never had a complaint from anyone serving as the Altar.
Join me next time as I delve into the preparation of the sacrifice.
I wrote the first blog post on this site (Satanism and How to Summon Demons) on October 1, 2011. I wrote other posts in mid 2011 but after reading them with ‘fresh eyes’, I utilized something many authors grow to “love and hate”; the DELETE key. My reason for writing a blog was quite simple………
“It has been my desire in this blog about Satanism to transmit knowledge that will afford followers of the LHP the opportunity to deepen their magical skills and understanding.”
In my opinion, I am an ‘Idealist Realist‘. I recognize certain ideals, positivity and creative forces in our physical spacial realm. I also openly admit some people are totally lost, represent zero (0) hope to the human race and lack any soft skills required for endeavors other than a faux pas, inauspicious unfulfilled promises or words and actions of mindless, pointless hate.
In the past, I have received email correspondence from individuals that fit squarely into this demographic. These exchanges are usually disguised as “Can you answer my question(s) on Satanism” however, some are similar to a “Bouncing Betty”; planted strategically on the path to enlightenment to “fuck someone up”. I answer their question, they respond immediately with a follow-up question and I answer it as well. This is usually the point when a “theological debate” or “religious argument” is attempted by the person. This maneuver lands their email (and their email address) in the trash however, I have wasted time on someone not worthy of my time.
I have also encountered the person who “desperately needs my advice” to undo what they have done or vice versa. I have been a real “sucker” for these. I need advice from time to time and reach out to objective and knowledgeable individuals for guidance. I, in turn, have chosen to give back by helping others. This usually ends up as a life-draining attempt for them to “change my mind” and suggest whatever he / she thinks the solution should be. This is a segue to either 1) ask for me to perform some ritual that produces what they desire (i.e. gimme what I want) or 2) ask me to “spoon feed” Satanic Magic to them so they can get learn everything about magic in 20 minutes (i.e. gimme what I want).
While I do appreciate them thinking of me as a fucking doormat, I always attempt to explain the “work = results” theory during more foolish questions, theatrical coercion, a nude photo (or two) and when reality sets in that they will not get what they want, the inevitable attack of my Satanic capabilities (last step).
Note: I would prefer to place the last step ‘first’ so they would not contact me at all. “If I do not possess magical abilities, why the fuck did you contact me seeking a magical solution to YOUR PROBLEM?”
I love and appreciate my coven members; they are my family. I can (and often do) discuss very personal matters with them because I know they reciprocate my feelings. Respect is a crucial requirement of Satanism and without respect, the coven will soon become a bastardized “cult” entity lead by a person who will ultimately destroy any resemblance of true Satanism. Those who remain in the group will more than likely be the next Tex Watson, Linda Kasabian, Patricia Krenwinkel or Susan Atkins.
Members of my coven persuaded and encouraged me to begin writing books. The idea was simple; “Share what has worked with the world”. So, the first book Magnum Opus – Secrets of the Inner Sanctum (released in October 2011) was about our coven. I feel that from that day forward, I have put my work, blogs and social media first and my beloved coven second.
Yes. I am glad you asked. I intend to rectify this situation going forward and thus the “point” of this blog post.
I am taking a sabbatical from blogging and social media. This week represented the “straw that broke the horse’s back” and it marks a watershed moment of clarity in a never-ending nightmare to make deadlines, return correspondence, weed out / answer sincere questions, attend speaking engagements – all while leading our coven. I am so busy telling people how great Satanism is, that I miss out on the rewards that I cherish and hold very dear.
My first obligation is to Satan, my second obligation is to our Coven and everything else falls in line after these two. In my hast to do more as an ambassador of Satanism, I have neglected the first two priorities while wasting time engaged with those lacking the capacity to grasp Magic, Satan or Demonic beings. These lazy, over-confident posers want a free ride and money. They truly believe Satan will give it to they simply because they “decided to sell their worthless souls”!
From time to time, I have seen people drop out of the public / social Friends always know how to contact me and that remains unchanged. I dream of virtual satanic rituals and plan to pursue in the future.
For the egomaniacs, trolls, apathetic, indolent, arrogant, impertinent,…………….I will stop there and waste neither time, word nor thought ever again.
Until next time…………or maybe not,
Satanic Blessings and Good Luck…….
